Our Team 

Loyal, dedicated, fully qualified staff 

All of our team members have the relevant childcare qualifications and are fully DBS checked. In addition, they hold their paediatric first aid certificate, food hygiene and other relevant qualifications. 
 
We follow Ofsted guidelines for staff ratio and each member of staff is responsible for their key children. 
Frances James 
My name is Frances, and I am the owner of Kiddiwinks Nursery.  
 
I also own Seedlings Nursery and Pre-school in town. I have been in childcare since 1996 and before this I was a qualified nurse.  
 
I have 5 grown up children and four grandchildren. I have a Ba Hons in childhood studies, and I am also an Early Years Professional. 
Sam Dawson 
My name is Sam Dawson and I am the manager of Kiddiwinks Nursery.  
 
I am Level 3 qualified, currently undertaking my Level 5. I spend my free time with family, usually exploring the outdoors. I love being creative, singing and dancing and getting involved in anything fun and messy.  
 
 
Charlie Wallace 
My name is Charlie Wallace, I have many years of experience in the catering industry, having always being a passion of mine. 
 
I am highly motivated and capable cook with a real passion for preparing popular healthy as well as nutritious meals. 
In my free time, I enjoy life with my family, attending musical events and practising my creativity with food. 
Megan Couch 
My name is Megan and I have been at Kiddiwinks since March 2021  
 
I am currently working towards my Level 3 in childcare.  
 
I love caring for my nieces and nephews which is what inspired me to work in childcare, I am passionate, caring and have a calm nature. 
Erin Roberts 
My name is Erin Roberts and I am Level 3 qualified. I am the room leader for the Catterpillar room and a senior member of staff. I have worked at Kiddiwinks for 4 years.  
 
I enjoy working with the babies as I love watching them learn and grow during this important stage of their development. 
 
I especially enjoy thinking of creative and fun ideas and activities for the children to explore in the tuff tray. 
Sharon Poole 
My name is Sharon and I work in the pre school room.  
 
I am Level 3 qualified and I have a lot of experience with working with babies and older children, I love thinking on the spot and creating wonderful activities based on the children's interests. 
 
I enjoy spending time with my family. 
Rosie Clark 
My name is Rosie. I have a Ba Hons in Childhood Studies and I work in the Chrysalis room.  
I have a passion for children with special educational needs which has led me to become the role of SENCO. 
 
I have a 4 year old daughter. 
 
I enjoy being very creative, active and fun. I am constantly looking for ways to be progressive in the environment, I love to see the holistic growth of children as they come through nursery. 
Lucy Cook 
My name is Lucy and I am currently working towards my Level 3 in childcare.  
 
I am very engaged in the children's forever changing interests and love to find creative ways for the children to enjoy their time at nursery.  
Karen Coundon 
My name is Karen, I have a Ba Hons in Childhood Studies. I am the Deputy Manager at Kiddiwinks nursery where I have worked for 4 years. I am also the Designated Safeguarding Officer at Kiddiwinks Nursery. 
 
I am the room leader of the Chrysalis room, having a young child myself, I feel like I can really relate to and engage well with this age.  
I have a calm, consistent approach which is very valuable when engaging with this age range. 
Ellise Leamy 
My name is Ellise and I work between the Catterpillar and Chrysalis room.  
 
I have obtained a PGCE and I am very passionate about early years. I like to spend my annual leave travelling to different destinations of the world. 
I like to be spontaneous and diverse, meeting the needs of all children. 
Natalie Richardson 
My name is Natalie and I work in the Catterpillar room. I have a Ba Hons in Childhood Studies. 
 
My soft, calming nature allows me to have a positive influence when nurturing the needs of the babies. I am confident in my role and have a passion for keeping upto date with relevant training and have a holistic approach to learning.  
 
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and socialising at musical events, particuarly live music.  
Esme Yorke 
My name is Esme and I am currently working towards my Level 3 in childcare.  
 
I work in the Butterfly room where I discovered my passion for leading fun, exciting activities to help children progress in all areas of learning and ultimately becoming 'school ready'. I work along side the nursery SENCO to develop my knowledge on special needs as this is an area I am very passionate about.
